New Parking Rates
The purpose and mission of the enhanced PARK Folly Beach parking program is to balance the needs of the community given the increasing demands and evolving dynamics in and around the beach-access parking lots and paid street parking areas in Folly Beach. Starting September 1, 2025, the City of Folly Beach will update parking rates for all paid parking lots while increasing availability of paid parking spaces on E. Arctic Ave. The new rate schedule features lower rates in some lots to spread parking demand more evenly across the island. Parking funds also fund beach patrol, trash collection, beach access and restroom maintenance, and beach renourishment. Yes, there is paid parking on street on East Arctic Ave thru 5th St E, Monday-Sunday 8am-10pm $3/hr.
